TOS Crew Review ~ Generations of Virtue

I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

It seems like more and more kids are being made into mini-adults when they should still be enjoying their childhood. I don’t see this as much in the homeschool families we know, especially those who have always homeschooled. But, I do see it in the general population of kids. I’m all for independence and motivation as skills they need to learn. But, I don’t want it wrapped up in sass, provocative behavior or revealing clothing.

When I saw Generations of Virtue listed as an upcoming vendor for the TOS Crew, I was intrigued. This company is truly a ministry that “equips parents to empower their kids for purity in our world today.”

Some of the products they carry are available through other avenues, yet cover the theme of purity. The Squire and the Scroll is a book we’ve read several times and enjoyed the message it portrays.

Teknon and the Champion Warriors. The product we were sent for review is the softcover book, Teknon and the CHAMPION Warriors-Novel. This retails for $13.99 on their site. The cover art is very appealing to boys, especially those that love to read science fiction or fantasy novels. I know that is one of P’s favorite genres to read.

I have been reading ahead of P and not rushing him to devour the whole book in a matter of days.

There are so many issues that come up in each chapter than you really could turn this book into a long term study of virtue. So, as of this review, we are not finished with the entire book. I can report that P is enjoying it as the adventure and fantasy style appeal to him.

Generations of Virtue does have resources to go beyond a simple reading of the novel. Available for sale on their site are mission guides for father and son.

You can purchase them individually ($15.99 for father and $14.99 for son) or as a set (one novel and one each of the guides) for $42.99.

What a wonderful avenue for a father to discuss these issues with his son.
