Surprise Your Kids with 3D Coin Art

My boys were excited to open up the package and get started. For our review, we received the Empire State Building. The company also offers one of the American Flag.

However, there was a downside. We do not have enough coins to fill the plastic case.

Unlike a regular ‘piggy bank’, these 3 D Coin Art vessels hold a specific configuration of coins. Specifically, nickels, dimes and quarters are the coins you need for the 3D Empire State Building. The American Flag one uses pennies, nickels, and dimes.

Using the 3D Coin Art

The first step is to gather all the coins in a special holder. This holder groups the coins to make the filling of the plastic structure easier.

Using the color guide, you add the coins in the specific places as indicated.

One all the coins are added to the one side of the plastic case, you carefully cover them with the other.  There are spots that snap into place to hold it all together.

We found that if you do not have the exact number of the specified coin in the designated spot, then the coins may cascade down inside of the case.

While we don’t have the Empire State Building filled and standing watch in their bedroom, they are eagerly saving up their coins for it. This completely filled 3D Coin Art will hold $50.

One of the boys is eyeing up the American Flag one now with thoughts of the future. Knowing we have tons of pennies in the house may be adding to the allure for that one, too.
