Last year, I shared a day to night Valentine’s Day outfit which could take you from the office to a more casual date night. After having someone tell me how red is one of my ‘power’ colors, I thought it would be nice to dress in red for Valentine’s Day.

While you might be able to wear this to work, especially with a blazer, the dress is definitely one to accent your curves and definitely a great fit for a hot date night.
I am in love with how this dress hugs my body and shows off my curves.
Shoes can make or break an outfit.
I have a pair of black shoes that are worn with most of my dresses, but this one needed something a little sassier.
Attention to details is important.
Pearls create an air of elegance while the small black sequin bag bridges the gap between conservative and fun.

Red is definitely your color. I just cannot do it because of my hair being red. I have to add in pops of red.

Dark, jewel tone colors are what look best on me. Not that I can’t wear other colors! It’s just nicer to find what really pops and stick with it.
You look great in red! Red isn’t very flattering on me unless I choose a darker shade. I’ll have to see what kind of outfit I can come up with!
