Color Me Catholic: New Roman Missal Edition!

I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Today I want to share a neat resource for Catholics with children that can help them learn about different aspects of the faith. And, it is completely in line with the New Roman Missal.

About Color Me Catholic: New Roman Missal Edition

Color Me Catholic is a Cathletics Craft Kit TM which you print out and have the kids color in before folding into mini-booklets.

Unlike lapbooking, these mini-booklets are meant to be read like a book.

There are 10 mini-booklets in all that cover Treasured Vessels, Vestments & Symbols, Church Furnishings, Parts of the Mass and Sacraments & Sacramentals plus 8 pages of phrases from the New Roman Missal Mass in sequential order.  Plus, Monica has you covered with a template for making a custom folder to hold all the booklets.

My Thoughts on Color Me Catholic: New Roman Missal Edition

I adore this product, which is not a surprise given my love for lapbooking and other crafty things.  I like that the booklets are brief and do not overwhelm while still instructing your younger children.

My boys, however, decided that coloring all of the pages in a timely manner for this review wasn’t going to happen.  (Funny how doodling happens easily for them while coloring well is not as much fun.) So, we are still putting together the finished booklets for use in our house.

Color Me Catholic: New Roman Missal Edition! is available as a downloadable product for $14 or in print format for $16 plus shipping. Permission to photocopy for single household or single class term use is given to the purchaser.  That single class term use provides great coverage for a CCD/Faith Formation class or a Catholic homeschooling cooperative.
