Christ the King
I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Jesus, the Lord
This song is by the St. Louis Jesuits and not so well known in Catholic churches, but I love it. We sang it as Mass this morning during Communion. I love when there is a song I know all the lyrics to at this time of the Mass as I don’t carry a hymnal up to receive the Eucharist.
Crown Him with Many Crowns
I love all the different titles for Christ in this hymn. While I found a few that were a little easier to hear the vocals, I love this particular one for both the strong organ and wonderful descant. Also, you can see what a full church this was with many priests and (if I’m counting correctly) 2 deacons in attendance.
With the end of the liturgical year, I know that Advent will be starting up in one week’s time. Bring on the reflection and preparation to celebrate Christ’s birth! (Look for details about this year’s 40 Days of Seeking Him meme coming in the next few days, too.)
