AGent+ Products for Keeping Your Home Clean
This post about AGent+ Products for keeping your home clean was made possible through a Moms Meet program. As always, opinions are our own, and affiliate links may be present.
I will be the first to admit that I am not the mom who loves to spend her time cleaning.
Cleaning is what I used to do when procrastinating my studies in college. I thought if the apartment was clean I wouldn’t be distracted.
After having the boys, it just became something I dreaded.
Because we all know that kids just turn around and make more messes.
However, with the addition of dogs to the mix and just wanting to make sure my family stays healthy, I have been embracing keeping my house clean.

Embracing “Green Cleaning”
Green cleaning is just one way people talk about using products that are more environmentally sound.
Many of the commercial items you’ll find at the local store are not.
I’ve been trying different eco-friendly products for years with mixed results.
First, you have products that claim to be ‘green’, but are just slightly less harmful than other options.
Second, some of the products do not get things clean. I’ve tried some that cleaned no better than plain water.
Third, some of the options just stink. (Yes, I’m giving you the side-eye, vinegar!) Or they have added fragrances to make them smell ‘clean’, yet end up just giving me a headache.
Finally, it is hard to find green products that truly offer protection from bacteria or viruses. They may help kill a fair number of them on contact. But, the surface isn’t protected for hours or days afterward.
That’s why I was eager to test out something that promised to not just clean but protect the surfaces for a period of time.
I consider it a bonus if it cleans and smells great without triggering a headache.
AGent+ Products for “Green Cleaning”
Recently, we were sent products from AGent+ Cleaner & Protectants.

This women-owned company was born out of concern for the environment as well as family and friends.
Their Hard Surface and Multi-Surface products include both copper and silver.
These natural elements possess antifungal (copper) and antimicrobial (silver) properties.
They have sent out their product for testing by an independent lab that verified effectiveness against E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and MRSA.
The end result is products that provide consumers with an environmentally safe cleaner that can protect surfaces up to three days after cleaning.
The Multi-Purpose protects for three days while the Hard Surface one is good for 24 hours.
Even the way the products are shipped is environmentally conscious. The Sustainable Nesting Kit includes a large mixing jug with two smaller spray bottles (2 and 12 ounces) placed inside.

The 12-ounce bottle contains concentrated cleaner.
Preparing the cleaners for use is simple to do.
- Pour the concentrate from the 12-oune bottle into the large jug.
- Add water to the line (go slow to minimize bubbles!)
- Shake before using.
- Use the included funnel to pour into the smaller bottles.
The Nesting Kit retails for $32.95 for each product option and the refill costs $21.95. That makes the 12-ounce bottle of ready-to-use cleaner come out to $3.73 to start and $2.48 with refills.
You can purchase the Nesting Kit directly from AGentPlusProtects.Me
Save 10% on your first order of an AGent+ Sustainable Nesting Kit, plus get an additional coupon for a FREE Nesting Refill with the code MomsFreeRefill. This offer ends on 7/31/22.
Using AGent + in Our Home
So far, using AGent+ products in our home is working wonderfully.
I’ve mostly used the hard surface cleaner as we have a lot of hard surfaces that need cleaning and protecting.
This is especially true for the bathroom and kitchen.

After spraying the surfaces from the larger spray bottle, I use a microfiber cloth to wipe.
A word of caution: Do not use these cleaners on electronics or glass.
While countertops and sinks are spots that I always think about cleaning, there are some areas that get neglected.
Cleaning the fronts of cabinets and around the door handles is something I used this cleaner to do.
It showed me not only have gross those areas were, but also how a few of the doors are in desperate need of painting.

Now that I’m getting the cleaning bug again, I am dreaming up other things that could use a wipe with AGent+ products.
Like everything inside our cars. (We won’t comment about which vehicles have serious grime on the interior handles.)
On a day when the dogs are outside, I plan to use the AGent+ Multi-Surface cleaner on their beds. One bonus is that using it on the fabric means just letting it dry.
That’s a lot easier than having to wrestle the cover off to wash and then put it back on several hours later.
And the small bottle of the Hard Surface cleaner is coming with me to work. I love my job and coworkers. I just want to minimize the likelihood of my getting sick.
Final Takeaway on AGent+ Products
I have found that they clean well.
However, they are not made for removing the persistent stains that our older kitchen counters like to have form. Keeping those at by requires reminders to family members about leaving things on the counter with water under them (e.g. empty cans that they rinsed to save.)
I really like knowing that the surfaces are protected from several bacteria and viruses.
Just like I would get irritated over a boy tossing dirty socks in the living room after I’ve cleaned, I don’t want to find my clean surfaces are allowing the growth of bacteria or viruses.
The products can be used on most surfaces (just not electronics or glass.) That means I can take just one or both spray bottles with me when cleaning.
Finally, there is a light, pleasant scent that does not trigger headaches for me. This comes from the citrus used in the cleaner.
Is “Green Cleaning” something you strive to do?
Would AGent+ products help you get there?
