Do you remember some of the songs you sang in your childhood?  Or, how the idea of being attracted to a guy could send all your girlfriends in a tizzy?

When I was younger, I sang a lot of little ditties like the other kids.  A favorite one during that awkward age when puberty was about to strike hinted at the idea of a man and woman being intimate, even if some of us were naive enough to not know the mechanics.  I’m sure many of you know it…

Of course, like many of the stories and songs from our youth there is really no mention beyond the stage of having kids.  Instead, it is like you get old and all the ‘fun’ love stuff just goes away because old people don’t do things like that.  Instead, we’re supposed to be there to give advice and eventually wither away until we are no more.  Or so it sometimes seems…

Yet, I don’t FEEL that old, even if my boys tell me I’m ancient now that I’m in my 40s.  What do YOU think?  Do we look like a bunch of old geezers awaiting the grim reaper??

As I have matured (or what some people would say aged), I have found that there are times when the mood strikes and I want to be intimate with my husband yet things are not quite pleasant on my end.  It is almost like my body has failed me and decided to become a desert in a sea of desire.  While I ‘get’ the biology going on and that as I start to transition towards menopause I will have dryness, that doesn’t mean I like it.  After all, what some have called the ‘marital act’ or ‘act of marriage’ is something that can be fun and definitely a great way to reconnect with your spouse.

I am always on the lookout for something new to try which will help me have the freedom to be spontaneous in my marriage.  I’ve used K-Y® products for years, but don’t always stay up to date on what is new. While wandering around the feminine hygiene products (you know, that section of the store we all have to visit on occasion but try to do so without anyone seeing us?) at Walmart, I spied K-Y®Liquibeads on the shelf which had me contemplating if my little stroll in that area was providing a sign that it was time to try something new to help with those times when things are rather dry.

Using K-Y® Liquibeads is easy.  In the box is an applicator that you use to insert a bead once every few days so that your body is ready whenever the mood may strike. No need to be dragging out extra lubricants and worrying about a mess.  

Just open up the packaging, place the bead which will help increase your internal moisture onto the applicator, and then carefully slide it on it just like you would a tampon. You should insert the tablet at least 30 minutes ahead of time for best results.
