Our Thoughts about VeggieTales Beauty and the Beet

Like so many other VeggieTales shows, this one had its funny moments as a lesson is taught. The lesson for this particular episode of VeggieTales is about unconditional love. This is more about showing how we should love others, even when they make it difficult to love them, because God first loved us.

Unlike some of our favorites, this one had a LOT more focus on music. Our family was split on how they liked it as a few of the guys are not big on country music. However, they all agreed that it would be pretty neat to live in a chalet like the one Mr. Beet owns.

J was tickled over the new Silly Song as it covers one of his favorite things to eat…Mac and Cheese.  Larry the Cucumber reveals the surprising and heretofore untold history of his family’s unexpected contributions to Italian cuisine.

  1. We actually like the Veggie Tales with more music a lot more! I like that this one teaches a lesson but doesn’t look like it changes scripture in the process. That is the one thing that holds me back with some of the Veggie Tales DVDs. Thanks for hosting and sharing your review.

  2. I love the lessons that are taught in the Veggie Tale movies and how it opens up discussion. The lessons are taught in a fun and easy to stay entertained way.

  3. Looks like a great DVD for the little kiddies. I like a DVD that has lessons that they learn even if they don’t know it. I like that the lesson is unconditional love. Like what we try to teach them that God has for them.
