The Healing Code, a review

I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

This title has been sitting in my review box, just waiting to be given the attention it needed.  A few weeks back, I did just that… and then got busy writing up other posts in the interim.  After this healing Mass this week and the post it inspired, I thought it was time to get this review written.

THE HEALING CODE is your healing kit for life–to heal the issues you know about, and the ones you don’t. In 2001, Dr. Alex Loyd discovered how to activate a physical function built into the body that consistently and predictably removes the source of 95% of all illness and disease so that the neuro-immune system takes over its job of healing whatever is wrong with the body. His findings were validated by tests and by the thousands of people from all over the world who have used The Healing Codes system to heal virtually any physical, emotional, or relational issue, as well as realize breakthroughs in success.
His testing also revealed that there is a “Universal Healing Code” that will heal most issues for most people. In this book you will get that Universal Healing Code, which takes only minutes to do. The book also includes:

  • The Seven Secrets of life, health, and prosperity
  • The 10-second Instant Impact technique for defusing daily stress
  • The Heart Issues Finder, the only test that identifies your source issues in a succinct personalized report.

This title presents a form of therapy, administered by the individual, which is supposed to eliminate stress from your body.  I can not say if I’m 100% in agreement with this technique working.  But, I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and admit the amount of time I’ve spent implementing the technique has fallen short of optimal.

I won’t go into details about the technique, but I can say that the background they present did a good job arguing their point of stress being an underlying culprit for many illnesses.  Time spent working in a lab as a grad student looking at the interactions of the neurological and immune systems with a keen eye on stress already showed me that fact to be true.  And, I won’t disagree that your body can not function as God intended if you keep it constantly under stress.  I know that the times when I am happiest and healthiest, I can see that every aspect of my life (diet, exercise, rest, and stress) is balanced.

Where I am a bit more hesitant over this technique is where it fits within the teachings of the Catholic Church.  In some ways, it seems like a new age technique with the idea of self-healing.  However, I can see potential for using the method of self-communication along with prayer to seek healing.  Even if the healing you receive is relief from underlying stress and not some incredibly fantastic healing from a terminal illness, you are still better off in the long run.

You can hear straight from Dr. Loyd from a previously recorded Q&A session that also has an excerpt of the book you can download.

The Healing Code retails for $25.99 US/$28.99 CAN and is published by The Hatchette Book Group.
