The Godly Home

Featured ColumnistMrs. Sarah Coller from  Hope in Every Season shares Strengthened By the Service of Others. I think is is wonderful her mother is close by and can spend time with her grandchildren.  And, having someone who’ll help out on occasion definitely can ease our own burdens.

Health and Fitness Check-in

38419lfuw8pyrnhFeatured ColumnistAnnie Kate presents Fit Mommy Friday: Making Snowmen and Family Fitness  posted at Tea Time with Annie Kate.  She hit the nail on the head about kids being active if WE are active

Gentle Humor

Featured Columnist Alana shares  Sunday School Answers over at Lightly Salted. I chuckled at her mention of The Hulk as the best super hero in her one son’s eyes as I could so see my Avengers loving 3 year old saying the same thing.  And, I love the segway to how the Christian life is hard and we want to be deeper than a Sunday School answer.  Thank you Alana for the mixture of humor and seriousness.

Modest fashion

Featured Columnist Caroline from The Modest Mom blog is back with Modest Monday & a Link-up! She got a few new finds at the thrift store which she shares in this post. I’m hoping to find a few new to me items by doing the same kind of shopping soon.

Design and Decorate

Featured Columnist Deanna from Home Haven Ministry presents Decorating On The Prairie: Seeing Red.  I am now longing for a lovely looking bed like hers with all those glorious pillows.

Movies and Music

Featured Columnist Laura O from Day Day in Our World shares their review of Songs on Love based on 1 Corinthians. I love the ones found and hope to find more as that’s a favorite Scripture verse.

Hospitality

Featured ColumnistHeather from Marine Corps Nomads will be back soon.  Right now they are busy with doing work on their cabin.

I am looking for a featured columnists and/or submissions for the Finance, Gardening & Flowers, Home Business, Homekeeping, Parenting and Young Adult Columns.  The young adult columnist needs to be an established teen or young adult blogger.

  1. Laura, I’m so glad your three year old loves Avengers. I feel guilty having young boys who even know about the characters! Glad I’m not the only mom out there with Avenger addicts!
