Testing Out New Looks with Trendage

Picking out a new outfit can be a challenge at times. I just found this new site, Trendage, which allows you to mix and match pieces from a few storefronts to see what things will look like before you buy.  They have a female and a male Best of all, you see how much each piece will cost so you can stick to a budget.

Trendage was created out of a need to visualize apparel in a better way. Instead of constantly asking “Will this go well with that?” and mindlessly browsing hundreds of pictures on dozens of retailer websites, the Trendage team created this app to finally make shopping fun on mobile devices.

Finding New Looks with Trendage

I used my computer to compile the following looks.  They offer an app for the iPhone and will soon be launching apps for the iPad and Android systems.

 

First up is a dress which is a bit on the casual side, so perfect for a summer’s day shopping or al fresco dining.

 

The next is one that makes me long for the water.  Could you imagine hanging out on a sail boat with this one?

 

Finally, I am paying homage to my eldest son who’s in love with lumberjack apparel.
