Bohemian Style for a Romantic Road Trip
I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
Valentine’s Day might have come and gone, but that doesn’t mean you can’t plan an excursion with your sweetie! (This post contains affiliate links to ModCloth’s website.)
I was visiting the ModCloth website and saw some really neat pieces that would work well with my style for a romantic road trip.
Unless we board a plane, the options for around Alaska are a bit limited. Plus the weather is a bit on the chilly side.
While getting onto a plane headed for warmer weather isn’t in our immediate future, I could so totally see making a late Spring or early summer trip with my husband either up towards Fairbanks (e.g. Denali National Park) or down to the Kenai Peninsula (hello slightly hippie Homer!) Early May is typically gorgeous weather in Alaska with sunny skies and longer days.
When you want to be walking about town during the day (e.g. the small shops you’ll find in Homer or along the spit), a casual Bohemian style top paired with simple slacks would be perfect. I’m also quite taken with these boots which pay homage to the traditional cowboy (or cowgirl!)
For a night out or just hanging by a beach (something we do differently in Alaska!), this gorgeous sleeveless dress along with a wedge sandal would be awesome. I can so totally see myself sitting in the long daylight at an outdoor cafe enjoying dinner wearing this one!
BONUS: NEW ModCloth customers can save $20 off their order of $100 when you register on the site.
Which of these pieces do you love?
Where would you be road tripping with your sweetheart?

I don’t know how the cowboy boots would work in with a bohemian style but I would like to see your vision incorporating them into an outfit.
I love that bohemian casual top and the wedge sandals. I would probably wear both with jeans and a really good fuchsia polish.
