Signs of Spring Means It’s Time to Freshen Up the Outdoors
This post brought to you by Pier 1. All opinions are 100% mine.
Snow is still on the ground at our house. But, warmer temperatures have it melting quickly. We’ve even spied a few shoots coming out of the ground in downtown Anchorage. It won’t be long before the grass is fully exposed and visions of warm(er) weather fun enter our heads.
Part of that dreaming about summertime includes plans for outdoor spaces.
Even up here in Alaska, Pier 1 is ready to fulfill those desires and help you create your outdoor space to be an inviting refuge.
In their seasonal category, you can find a variety of furnishings and decor available for purchase. Included in this array is the iconic Pier 1 Papasan, with versions made to be kept outdoors. The outdoor Swingasan chair looks like something my boys would love to hang out in on those long summer nights. I just would need to find the right spot for it. Personally, I would love to have some of the wicker furniture as it invokes memories of my Nana’s enclosed porch back in Rhode Island.
One of the nice things about Pier 1’s outdoor furniture is that it can be used either inside or outside. Double duty is always good, especially in an area where the ‘warm’ weather is short-lived.
This past month, there were a few Pier 1 Tweetups for areas around the U.S. with one scheduled in NYC later this month.
So, if you are already dreaming of creating a great outdoor space this year, don’t forget to check out Pier 1. You might be pleasantly surprised!
