Nutella Banana Bread
I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
There are so many yummy recipes included in the new 12 Days of Christmas with Six Sisters’ STUFF. It was a challenge to decide not only what to test but also which recipe I would feature having been given permission to do so.
Ultimately, I really felt called to share their Nutella Banana Bread. This is super easy to make and I definitely agree with them about doubling the recipe to make 2 loaves at once. I’m thinking this would also be a great quick bread to make in the small bread tins and then wrap up for teacher gifts. I just hope my son’s teachers will actually get it when the time comes as he might have a hard time NOT eating it.

Nutella Banana Bread
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/4 cup mashed bananas
- 1/4 milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 cup Nutella
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 8 X 4 inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- In medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer at medium speed until blended. Add eggs, beating well after addition. Add bananas, milk and vanilla and mix until well blended.
- Slowly add flour mixture to the wet mixture, mixing just until incorporated. Do not overmix.
- Spoon Nutella into a small, microwave safe bowl and soften for 15 seconds on high power. Add 1 cup of the batter to the Nutella and stir until blended.
- Alternately spoon batter and Nutella mix into the prepared pan. Use a knife to swirl the batters together.
- Bake 50 to 60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. The bread will seem a tiny bit undercooked due to the texture of the Nutella. Cool 15 minutes in the pan, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
I used 3 very ripe bananas for this size recipe.
