It is also the perfect time to start planning for how you’ll celebrate Christmas with your family. My Thoughts on 12 Days of Christmas with Six Sister’s Stuff
I love, love, love it!
Okay, that’s not quite enough ‘meat’ to do this title justice. However, that’s how I feel about this book.
The suggestions are easy to implement. Some are things I’ve done in the past and others are things I’ve considered but often forget to do. I am seriously contemplating how I can do a 12 Days of Christmas gift for my husband or the boys to help ‘string out’ the celebration for the season with little gifts rather than going crazy on ONE day.
The recipes found in the book are simple to make with ingredients you can get at your local store. Crafts are the same way. How cute is this homemade pinata they did (I really want to make it!)
Of course, for my boys it was all about the food. With the weather cooling down, it was the perfect time to bake a few items. The ones that caught my eye were the Chocolate Orange Cookies (which would be perfect for Halloween with their color scheme!) and Nutella Banana Bread. Not that the others aren’t yummy looking. Those are just the ones that I felt pulled towards for the moment. (I’m sure having a bunch of bananas in need of being used had a little something to do with it.)
Check out how to make Nutella Banana Bread.
