This topic is a great one for us ~ field trips!

The boys and I love to go on field trips. Some are more exciting than others. And, some are more economical than others (as in FREE!)

As I have time, I’ll have to put up posts of previous field trips we took before the blog began.  When the boys were younger, going to science centers or children’s museums was a great way to spend a day.  Those kinds of places were also great to break up long car trips.  Both P and R were excited to ride the school bus up to the Cleveland Zoo when they attended the church school for kindergarten.

Anyone who has been reading this blog since the beginning will have seen the following previous posts. If not (or you want to revisit them), here are some that we’ve done in the past few years.

From the above list of field trips shared on the blog, I think the boys would agree that the US Army Ordnance Museum was their favorite.  What can I say….boys, guns and neat vehicles make quite a combination!  Second to that would be our visit to the Air Mobility Command Center in Dover, DE.
