Comfort Meets Style with Covered Perfectly

Most of the time, I find myself wearing one of the typical homeschooling mother outfits…a knit shirt or sweatshirt with jeans. This might be a great ‘uniform’ for hanging around the house with the potential to get messy. But, it is NOT a way to look great when I head out the door and into the public. Thankfully, my wardrobe is getting a bit spiffier with 2 tops from Covered Perfectly.
Covered Perfectly was born out of one woman’s desire for a great fitting top that was comfortable, cute and flattering. Pauline Durban has women over the age of 40 in mind when developing the different tops and vests, although younger women could fall in love with them as well. They offer tops in sizes Small (Size 4 – 6), Medium (Size 8 – 10), Large (Size 12 – 14), and Extra-Large (Size 16 – 18) as well as options for plus sizes.
From the moment I took my tops out of the package, I was in love with the way they felt. The Micromodal fabric is super soft and feels wonderful against your skin. It is also made to move with you with a little Spandex included in the fabric. The designs are done so that typical pesky trouble spots like arms and tummies are covered even when you are active. The icing on the cake is that these tops are made in the USA. I call that a win – win for this busy mom who’s crossed pass the 40 mark!
The top which first caught my eye on the website is the Cowl neck ($49.95), which I received in purple.
I’ve always loved the way purple looks on me and how it in turn makes me feel. The cowl neck is fabulous and makes me feel more adorned than in a regular shirt. It is also machine washable, something that is so important when you still have young children in the house. So far I’ve used this one to run errands around town (looking fabulous compared to my typical t-shirt and jeans), but I am thinking I can partner it with slacks or a skirt for church as well. Yes, it is that versatile!
The other top I was sent to review is the Limited Edition "In Spirit" design by world renowned artist, Mindy Seeger($49.95.) This top is primarily in slimming black with a gorgeous design along your right side.
To maintain the design, I plan to hand wash this particular top. Given how elegant it looks and makes me feel, I have not worn this one to just run basic errands. Instead, I’m using it for church with slacks or a skirt and am thinking I’ll wear it to my next mom’s night out. I think it makes a wonderful choice for casual date nights with my husband as well.

I really like these two tops by Covered Perfectly. They both look very comfortable. Also, the colors and design of the tops are great.
How pretty these Covered perfectly tops are, I love the limited edition “In Spirit” by designer/artist Mindy Seeger beautiful with the pop of blue on the sides .
The tops you chose really flatter you! Perfect choices! When I am running errands I am in a maxi dress slump. I look ok and put together it is that it is the same old same old. I really love this line of tops . If I were to narrow it down to my one fav top from covered perfectly I would choose the Wrap over.
I think my favorite is the Wrap-over in Malt. I think. There are a lot of nice options.

I’m a sucker for empire-style tops. This one isn’t QUITE empire, but it’s close enough! I love the layered bottom ladies top….in either teal or coral. Or both! I also like the wrap-over women’s top. Awesome in both gray and black!

I like almost all of them, so it was hard to pick a favorite. I am going with simple and classic – Simple Comfort in Gray.
Most of the time I dress in jeans and t-shirts, but I like to have tops that are casual yet “dressed up” in my wardrobe for going out in the evenings. Tops that are just as appropriate with a skirt or dress pants as with khakis or jeans. These look perfect. 🙂
I like both tops on you, but the purple is especially pretty.

I love the look of Mandy (black), V-Neck (blue), and Layered Bottom (coral). Any of these would be great to put on when I’m headed out. I like the idea of comfort, coverage, and “not just a t-shirt.”
The purple is such a gorgeous color! That top looks like it would be very spendy but is actually quite affordable.

I love the draped front in all four colors. I’d probably go with malt. And I like almost every color and the tie-dye of Mandy. Tough decision for your winners. 🙂 It’s so nice to see longer tops that are also *pretty*.
There are so many that look nice. I think my favorite is probably the Open Collar in purple. It looks relaxed, yet stylish. And purple is just such a lush color that it makes me smile.
