About Camp Hideout
Noah is an at-risk teen currently living at New Day Boys Home. He’s been told he must attend Deer Run Christian Camp as a last shot before being sentenced to juvie. However, when you meet Noah he is on the run from a security guard after stealing a hand-held game system for two criminals he had gotten caught up with in town.
He makes his escape and gets on the bus to camp just in time. He attempts to stay separate from fellow campers and make it through the mandated time at camp.
Noah also keeps his hand-held game system inherited from his beloved older brother hidden, but knows that camp owner Falco and his scary dog, Lazarus, are on the hunt for electronic contraband.
It isn’t long before Noah discovers his cherished game system is not his own, but the one he stole and thought he’d passed onto the thugs he stole for.
The question is will harm come to others as those criminals come in search of their prize?
In this PG, family-friendly film, the kids learn what it truly means to forgive and the power of faith. This film can encourage Hollywood to prioritize these types of movies.
Viewers will recognize two fan-favorites: Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future) as the camp owner, Falco, and Corbin Bleu (High School Musical) as the camp counselor, Jake.
Camp Hideout is a Called Higher Studios production and will be in theaters nationwide beginning September 15, 2023.

My Thoughts on Camp Hideout
The movie has plenty of campy vibes to it and has an overarching feel of an afterschool special to help teach young viewers a lesson.
The lesson here is that you can find redemption from past poor choices and find friends who will support you rather than tear you down.
Camp Hideout has some basic tenets of Christianity woven into the story with a dose of classic shenanigans that tweens and teens would embrace.
Throughout the film, Noah is provided with opportunities to turn from his life of crime and forge a new path. At one point, Jake asks Noah, “When a seed comes to you, what kind of ground will you be?”
Eventually, he realizes there are people willing to be true friends to him.
There are plenty of laughable, comedic moments in the film, especially near the end when his new friends help him regain his own device and trap the crooks.
