40 Days of Seeking Him 2020 Week 5 Lent

Self-isolation / staying home continues for most of us.

Every day, I remind myself…Faith over Fear.

Faith over Fear

My husband has needed to go into work a few days this week. So, I had him do some shopping on the way home. I figured better one person out there than my going out as well.

Our current dilemna is what to do about our return trip to Alaska next month.

My one teen is happy to go up and self-quaranteen for 14 days if it means possibly seeing friends at the back end. However, I don’t know if that’ll happen.

What I do need to figure out is if I should go up and spend self-quaranteen time on packing up things at our rental. And figure out how to get my eldest son out of the state.

The biggest challenge isn’t just the stuff. Most of that can be shipped.

The real challenge is vehicles we planned to drive out through Canada.

We might have to extend our rental time until things settle down enough to make that trek.

I know that this season of uncertainty will pass.

We just don’t know the day or hour. Or what awaits us on the other side.

How is your Lent going so far?

The linky will be up each week so you can add in posts daily, weekly, or whenever you are able.

The posts can be about anything related to Lent and preparations for Easter. This includes crafts, food, devotions, music or reflections.

I hope that my readers will join us on the journey through Lent as we seek to grow closer to Christ. Christian bloggers are welcome to join us in the weekly link up with posts that they are writing to showcase activities or reflections taken during this Lenten journey.

We are expanding the platform for this meme to include a 40 Days of Seeking Him Pinterest board for submitted posts and a Facebook group.  I hope that you’ll check out the Pinterest board and join us on Facebook, too, as we seek to grow closer to Christ.
