Christmas Day has come and gone. While my teen-aged boys are doing more schoolwork that wasn’t done for the first semester, my younger boys are starting to cry about having NOTHING to do (unless we succumb to letting them watch TV or play video games all day long!) So, I thought it was the perfect time to find some winter crafts they can do during the week and my preschooler and I might enjoy into January. Enjoy the 12 adorable winter crafts for kids I’ve compiled.
Waterless Snow Globes Kids Craft at The Country Chick Cottage. I love snow globes, but don’t like the mess of liquid which this one removes from the equation.
Snowflake & Snowball Winter Yarn Wreath at Crafts N Coffee. This is one that my 11 year old could do while watching a show and then have the 5 year old help ‘decorate’ it.
Framed Cottonball Snowman Craft for Kids at Artsy Mamma.
Snowman Lantern at Stockpiling Mama. I need to start saving up empty milk bottles for this one!
Footprint Penguin Canvas Keepsake at Fun Handprint Art. I think the idea of making something more permanent than just on construction paper has a certain appeal. Time to check out sales at Michael’s and JoAnns’ for canvases.
Mosaic Penguin at Crafts by Amanda.
Cardboard Tube Polar Bear at Crafts by Amanda.
Paper Plate Polar Bear at Baby Loving Mama.
Winter Tree Handprint at Fun Handprint Art.
Painted Pasta Gingerbread Birdhouses at Club Chica Circle.
Painted Pasta Gingerbread Birdhouses at Crafts N Coffee.
Cardboard Tub Children and Snowmen at Crafts by Amanda.
In case you missed seeing it, we made a Disney Planes Inspired Garlandin our house with a free printable template included. You can use the template to make other things or just for coloring fun.
