TOS Crew Review – One 2 Believe Nativity Set
I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
Around our house, the arrival of package can be a big event. The boys start speculating on what wonders might be inside the box. Then the begging to open it up begins.
Children can make this story come to life with our interactive “Nativity” play set, featuring everything you need to help your child learn about this fascinating Tale of Glory. Set includes a “Birth of Baby Jesus” mini-storybook and 17 PVC pieces (Joseph, Mary, baby Jesus in manger, King #1, King #2, King #3, Angel #1, Angel #2, Shepherd #1, Shepherd #2, male camel, male donkey, male sheep, female sheep, stable, tree, and a barrel of hay). For ages 3+. Retail is $25.95
Since opening the box, barely a day has gone by that the boys have NOT had their hands on the different pieces. How I wished the camcorder had been handy when I spied my middle son re-enacting the story of Jesus’ birth complete with the wise men singing to Jesus about their gifts. Other days I am running for the camera to capture “Nativity Chess” as the figurines take on a new role for a game of chess with rules concocted by our five year old. Unfortunately, I have yet to snap a nice candid photo of them using it!
If you really prefer a wooden nativity set, then this set for the children would not be for you.
We have a set that is more wood like which the boys enjoy, but the pieces are smaller and easier to be lost or hidden if actively played with. One 2 Believe’s Nativity Set seems to be a good fit for our family and potentially for others as well. Now I am expecting to see other sets from the Tales of Glory series appear on their Christmas lists as they enjoy acting out the stories. Or, maybe I’ll find them using Playmobil figures to re-enact Bible stories now.
