The Hiding Place: 2023 Film Chronicles a Tale of Bravery and Hope

This highly anticipated film chronicles the true story of Corrie ten Boom, a Dutch Christian who risked her life to save Jewish refugees during World War II.

Despite the danger and uncertainty that surrounded her, Corrie refused to give in to fear and instead chose to embrace hope and compassion.

The movie is set for limited theatrical release on August 3 and 5, 2023 in the United States. It will be available in worldwide cinemas on August 16.

The story of Corrie Ten Boom is familiar to many in the homeschool world as the novel The Hiding Place often makes an appearance in reading lists.

There is a movie that was made years ago.

This one is a bit different as this is a cinematic presentation of the stage adaptation of The Hiding Place.

Watching this production was a moving experience. There is something about the feel of a live stage that packs a bigger punch than the sometimes highly edited perfection you find in movies.

If anything, I now want to see it in person.
