Prayer Moment with Saint Theresa

I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

A friend sent me this prayer today via email and I thought I would share it here.  While I do not have a strong devotion to Saint Theresa (or really any one Saint in particular), I do love knowing that we can live our faith through all the little things that we do.  I may not carve out an hour each day to spend reading The Word or having uninterupted prayer.  But, I can pray while I do my daily work.
Good thing God won’t mind if I pray while I do the dishes!
In case you are not aware, Saint Theresa is known as the Saint of the Little Ways, meaning she believed in doing the little things in life well and with great love…. She is represented by roses.

May everyone who receives this message be blessed.

Saint Theresa’s Prayer

May today there be peace within.

May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.

May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.

May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that

has been given to you.

May you be content knowing you are a child of God.

Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to
sing, dance, praise and love.

It is there for each and every one of us.

Amen

‘Worry looks around, Sorry looks back, Faith looks up.’

  1. The "Little Flower" is little Emma's patron saint…her story is a good example of how the little things we do can please God. She was not perfect, and yet saintly, something we can all aspire to.
