Music to Remind Us that Jesus is Our Savior
I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
With Easter last weekend and Divine Mercy Sunday (plus the launch of our new youth program at church), I have been busy. Instead of having time to pick a movie to watch with the boys, I have been practicing at the piano so I could accompany at church.
So, with music flowing through my head, I thought I would share a few of the selections I have been learning for church.
Mighty to Save
(I’ve started learning it, but we had to table it for a few weeks rather than attempt it on Easter without sufficient practice.)
Lead me to the Cross
(I am anticipating a very haunting rendition of it tomorrow as we have a violinist joining us and the rehearsal went much better than I anticipated.)
This post has been submitted for inclusion in The Christian Home Issue 58 hosted here. As the featured columnist for the Movies and Music category, you can be looking forward to weekly posts on what we are watching or music we’ve enjoyed.
Feel free to leave suggestions for me as well that are family friendly or uplifting for adults. While I have movies and some music selections in mind, I’m always on the lookout for other great choices.
