Human Body by Rock N Learn
I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
While we do not always tackle science in a bookish sort of way, the boys do enjoy learning about different areas. Learning more about the human body is something we’ve been itching to do for a while.
We’ve now started the studies and kicked it off with a viewing of Rock N Learn’s Human Body DVD.
In the packed 52 minute video, the boys learned about:
- Skeletal System
- Nervous System
- Muscular System
- Circulatory System
- Urinary System
- Respiratory System
- Digestive System
- Five Senses
Like the other science videos from Rock N Learn, the child journeys to different centers to learn more about the topic. On this volume, there are the Body Systems and Sensory Learning Centers along with a stop at the game show, “The Body Wheel.”
My boys’ thoughts? R commented that this was the BEST Rock N Learn DVD we’ve reviewed to date. Considering he’s enjoyed the others, that tells me he really wants to learn more on this topic. As we’re just starting the human body materials, I have a feeling we’ll be viewing this title at least one more time in the next few months.
Human Body on DVD retails for $19.99. You can find many more DVD and CD options to help your child learn on the Rock N Learn website. My blog readers can enter the code “JQ7711” when checking out to save 25% on your order.
Finally, there are activities to go along with this title and many others on Marko the Pencil.

I think this sounds like a great way for kids to learn. It reminds me of magic school bus ( anyone remember that show?) I STILL remember things that I learned on that kid’s show lol. Sounds like Rock n Learn would have the same result.
nice idea!
thank you , I will enter your giveaway.
This looks like a great way to learn science!
That is a lot of systems in a 52 minute video! Glad they are trying to make something that can be a boring subject more interesting for kids 🙂
Looks like a fun way to learn!
Maybe your boy will be a doctor! Great review and thanks for tip about the giveaway. Rita
Rita,
One never knows what kids will grow up to be. Thanks for the kind comment.
I try to do a review of the body’s systems a few times a year. This would be a fun new way to do that.
Looks like a great learning tool! I will keep it in mind for when my kiddos get to that in their science lessons.
Hope you are having a great Advent!
God bless,
Lisa
