Our Take on Celery Night Fever

Overall this one definitely gets two big thumbs up.  The blend of Sunday morning values with Saturday morning fun is in full swing as some of the characters get their groove on.

One of the things I liked was how this particular episode focuses on friendship and how we can do things that drive us apart or make the choice to work on the relationship.  Laura Carrot is the hyper-organized and dependable gal who’s friend, Junior Asparagus, is well meaning but often disappoints.

When she sets her sights on saving Celery Park and he falls short again, it is the ‘last straw’ in her mind and she checks their friendship away.

Parallel to their broken friendship is learning about why the Groovy Brothers broke up their act and how hurt feelings can stay around for a long time.  Only through forgiveness can those hurts be soothed and the relationship mended.

Ephesians 4:12 is the Bible verse shared with the audience and it really reflects how Christians should approach relationships with others.  “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone.  Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”  Just imagine how life can be if we all started acting upon just this one verse.
