This post, Christmas Under the Stars with Lauren Daigle, is part of a campaign with Lev3L Digital. All opinions are my own.

When the holidays hit, I am ready for all the holiday music and shows.

While there are classics I always put on, I also like to find something new to enjoy.

My Thoughts on Christmas Under the Stars

I was given advance streaming access to this holiday special.

First a short disclaimer: BYUtv is connected to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormon Church). This channel offers inspirational, family-friendly programming that affirms our faith. Lauren Daigle’s appearance on this channel is a very positive event, and we hope you agree.

The start of the show is jazzy and upbeat with Jingle Bells. A great song to build energy and get into the holiday spirit.

This gal raised in the deep south truly appreciates her paying homage to the music of New Orleans. That is one of the main things I adore about NOLA and am thankful to live back in the general area.

All that to say if you do not like jazzy music which many equate with New Orleans, then this Christmas special might not be as well received. But, not quite all of the music is full-on jazz.

The other thing I liked about the special, besides the great music, is hearing Lauren talk about her own memories of the holidays with her family.

For me, I definitely enjoyed it all and plan to play her CD many times this Christmas season.
