Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia

I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Just over a week ago, our family made the drive up to the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia. It was for a field trip with Queen of Peace homeschoolers group. The boys and Stephen had a good time as did I. We even spent about an hour in the Franklin Institute afterwards (thanks to the science center membership we have both places are on the reciprocal list!)

Seeing the butterflies land on some group members was quite interesting, although I was ready to exit the warm, humid room after a short while. The kids really enjoyed the hands on area, especially digging for fossils.  I think all of my boys have adored dinosaurs and getting dirty.

Here’s some of the photos we took that day. Hope you enjoy.
