Easter Fun from Wee Believers

I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

This past fall, our family was blessed to do a review for Wee Believers. Now we feel doubly blessed as we have been able to review 2 of their newest products available just in time for filling your Easter baskets.  Read on for more about these Catholic toys.

Easter 15- Piece Magnet Book

**No longer available***

While a magnet book might seem like an odd choice to enter our house when J is still on the young side, I have to say that he absolutely loves this product.  He could hardly wait to ‘dig in’ and get all of the pieces ready for use.  One morning even had J bringing the magnet book into my bed to play.  That would have been fine except he kept ‘losing’ pieces in the sheets and becoming rather distraught over it.

The older brothers have tried to engage J in using the book as intended and tell the Resurrection story.  J’s more interested in deciding where to place the different pieces than how they can interact with a story.  However, I’ve spied the older boys checking this product out when J is not around.

I’m thinking this might enter the rotation of items allowed to go to Mass with us, although J is getting better about observing all around him and not needing as much distraction.  With the plastic carrying case, it will be easy to transport this item as needed with no fear of the 15 magnets accidently getting lost.  And, I can envision the magnet board providing many hours of entertainment for him in the future.

2-in-1 Noah’s Ark Floor Puzzle

retail $12.99

Completed Noah's Ark Puzzle

This fun, double sided puzzle is not a specific to Eastertime, but would be a great gift for your little one at this time of year.  Unlike many puzzles, this one is round rather than a more traditional rectangular shaped.  And, the graphics are absolutely stunning.

I also am glad to see that the 48 pieces are quite friendly for even our 2 year old as they are large enough for smaller hands to manipulate and quite durable in construction.  We also like the 28 inch diameter circle that allows for ease of interaction with the kids.  (In the photo above, J is pointing out the different animals to me.)

Yet again, we give the company and their products a big thumbs up.  The boys are enamored with the products and I am grateful for the high quality.  But, most important is the chance to engage the boys in activities that compliment the formation of faith.  In these early years, learning tends to be through play and the primary aspect of faith are repetitive stories from our rich faith.

There are 2 other new products in the Wee Believers product line ready for Easter:  an Easter Scene Wooden Pop-out Puzzle ($16.99 retail) that brings the resurrection scene to live in 3D fashion and a 2-in-1 Easter Floor Puzzle ($14.99 retail) that has a joyful Easter resurrection scene on one side and a serene spring one on the other.
