The Christian Home Magazine, 119th edition

I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Welcome to the 119th edition of The Christian Home Magazine, a weekly Blog Magazine posted (normally) every Monday.

I hope all my US readers had a wonderful 4th of July week/ weekend.  We went camping up on the Denail Highway.  Check out the view (cloudy and rainy, but still gorgeous!)

Articles are submitted by various Christian Blog authors. I hope you enjoy the articles submitted for this week’s ‘double’ article issue for a few contributors as last week was skipped. Don’t forget to leave a comment here about your favorite article and give the author some comment love on their blog!

Gardening & Flowers

Featured Columnist –Linda fromLinda’s Lunacy shares a new Saturday on the Farm – The View From My Front Porch. All that rain is giving Linda a very green and lush looking yard. Enjoy!

The Godly Home

Featured ColumnistMrs. Sarah Coller from Hope in Every Season is sharing Prayer Card Box. I love this idea which helps us to remember how important prayer can be and provides a way to remember those we have committed to prayer.

Carolyn over at This Woman Writes shares I Want to Be Moses.  She presents a rather interesting post on wanting to have that relationship with God like Moses did rather than be one of the believers who only listened to their leader.  I’m so glad that through Christ we can have a direct line of communication to God the Father of all.

Modest fashion

Featured Columnist Caroline from The Modest Mom blog shares her Modest Monday and a Link Up post.  This week she is sporting a new look for her hair and I’d say it looks great.

Gentle Humor

Featured Columnist Alana from Lightly Salted is back from her blogging break with The Bible (Submissive Women Version) . Alana is tackling what could be seen as a ‘hot topic’, that of wives being submissive to their husbands. I know this is an issue I have struggled with in the past and must admit I side with Alana in that disagreements ARE going to happen.

Movies and Music

Featured Columnist – Laura O from Day Day in Our World shares a review of Big Miracle from 2012.  This film has so many ‘cold’ scenes that it just might help take the edge off of a scorching summer day!  And, it’s a nice blend of entertainment mixed with real life happenings.

Design and Decorate

Featured Columnist Deanna from Home Haven Ministry will be back soon.

Hospitality

Featured ColumnistHeather from Marine Corps Nomads will be back soon as she continues the transition to a new home.

I am looking for featured

columnists and/or submissions for the Finance,  Fitness, Home Business, Homekeeping, Parenting and Young Adult Columns.  The young adult columnist needs to be an established teen or young adult blogger.

While we have featured columnists for many of the columns, any Christian author can submit for inclusion in the magazine in all of the different columns.
