Today in the Catholic Church we celebrated the feast day of Mary, Mother of God. Our pastor reflected upon how beyond being Christ’s mother, she was also a disciple. He also contemplated how she could be the glue between the three main faiths in our world ~ Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
I am in amazement at how quickly the past week went. Mr. O was home for the week. An injury early in the week had me staying home more than going out, which allowed for precious ‘bonding’ time with the boys. There’s just something about a toddler snuggled up on your lap on a cold winter’s afternoon that brings a smile to my face.
I’ll be sharing more reflections and ideas throughout the week (as I find time to write.) I hope you’ll join me for the ride. With Epiphany almost around the corner, it will be the last week for this meme. God willing, we’ll be back with a 40 Days of Seeking Him meme for Lent.
My friend Trish over at A House Upon the Rock is joining me hosting this 40 day meme. We will not be doing a daily link-up, but rather a weekly one. If you blog more than once a week, please add each linkto the link-up, we’d love to find you and read what you are doing and learning as you seek Him.
Please consider joining us as we Seek Him for the next 40 days. We will celebrate from the first day of Advent through Epiphany on Jan. 6th. For those participating, please note again, that we will be hosting a weekly link-up. Today, if you’d like to share how you are Seeking Him during this Christmas Season , slip in the direct URL to your exact post. If you join us, would ask that you please help us find each other by sharing the button code in your posts. Find the button code here or in the sidebar. Thank you for joining us. I look forward to reading your posts (as many as I possibly can) as we share what we are doing to prepare our hearts for the most wonderful gift God gave us ~ Jesus Christ.
