Christmastime is here! And, I completely forgot to get up this post with the linky before logging off the computer on Christmas Eve.
I hope that everyone had an enjoyable Christmas Day with their family and/or friends.
We were pretty low-key here. Mr. O made homemade cinnamon rolls for the morning. The older boys got J all hyped up when he woke and had gifts open in short order after I agreed to get up. Mass was lovely and not super crowded. The excitement got to J and he fell asleep in Mr. O’s arms at the end of Mass.
Time at home the rest of the day included a fire in the fireplace (a ‘splurge’ as we don’t have much wood for burning at the moment.) And, a nice roast and veggies for dinner. (More about that dinner later this week!)
I’ll be sharing more reflections and ideas throughout the week (as I find time to write.) I hope you’ll join me for the ride.
My friend Trish over at A House Upon the Rock is joining me hosting this 40 day meme. We will not be doing a daily link-up, but rather a weekly one. If you blog more than once a week, please add each linkto the link-up, we’d love to find you and read what you are doing and learning as you seek Him.
Please consider joining us as we Seek Him for the next 40 days. We will celebrate from the first day of Advent through Epiphany on Jan. 6th. For those participating, please note again, that we will be hosting a weekly link-up.
Today, if you’d like to share how you are Seeking Him during this Christmas Season , slip in the direct URL to your exact post. If you join us, would ask that you please help us find each other by sharing the button code in your posts. Find the button code here or in the sidebar.
Thank you for joining us. I look forward to reading your posts (as many as I possibly can) as we share what we are doing to prepare our hearts for the most wonderful gift God gave us ~ Jesus Christ.
