I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
Are you feeling stressed or like the ‘hustle and bustle’ have taken over your life?
I have to admit that I am amazed at how busy our life has gotten and I’ve done my best to avoid overscheduling. As I type this Saturday night(with my body saying it’s ready for sleep!), I have to say that today had me moving about with many of the things on my to do list undone.
The Advent wreath has not been dug out and I am considering just letting it go for this year. Instead, I found a resource we haven’t used in a few years ~ 30 Days with Mary and Joseph.
It was easy to ‘catch up’ the first week and we’re doing this daily before starting school. As we’ll be doing more ‘fun’ school the next few weeks, I might start doing the short reflection before dinner. The younger boys are taking turns placing the cling on stickers and I appreciate how easy this is to implement.
I’ll be sharing more reflections and ideas throughout the week (as I find time to write.) I hope you’ll join me for the ride.
My friend Trish over at A House Upon the Rock is joining me hosting this 40 day meme. We will not be doing a daily link-up, but rather a weekly one. If you blog more than once a week, please add each link to the link-up, we’d love to find you and read what you are doing and learning as you seek Him.
Please consider joining us as we Seek Him for the next 40 days. We will celebrate from the first day of Advent through Epiphany on Jan. 6th.
For those participating, please note again, that we will be hosting a weekly link-up.
Today, if you’d like to share how you are Seeking Him during this Advent Season , slip in the direct URL to your exact post.
Thank you for joining us. I look forward to reading your posts (as many as I possibly can) as we share what we are doing to prepare our hearts for the most wonderful gift God gave us ~ Jesus Christ.
