40 Days of Seeking Him 2020 Holy Week

Are the days melding into one long day for you?

I find myself continually reminding myself what day it is. And then telling the boys. Like on Friday right before one of them made something with meat for lunch.

A Different Kind of Lent and Holy Week

Now we enter Holy Week. And life is different than usual.

No attending Mass in community. Rather, many of us are streaming Mass into our homes.

But, it isn’t the same.

I keep ruminating upon the idea of Faith over Fear.

It was something I mentioned in last week’s anchor post.

Then I opened up a packet for the QVC Inspirational Living Show and my necklace sample had the same words on it.

I just didn’t take time to write more on the subject.

I definitely have plenty of thoughts.

The problem is I can quickly lose focus. Or motivation.

Instead, it is survival mode on a daily basis.

And the need to step away from the news and social media. To do things that rejuvinate me.

Like reading books.

Watching a show with the family.

Walking around our Mississippi homestead. To get fresh air and soak in the beauty of God’s creation.
