40 Days of Seeking Him 2011 ~ Day 23

Today has been a day when I wonder if the boys’ behavior (or lack there of..) is serving as a form of penance for me. Or, maybe it’s just a way to test my patience.

Which ever it may be, days like today remind me to be thankful for the extreme patience our Father shows us.  He knows that we are far from perfect and will make mistakes.   I doubt he enjoys watching us fall or cause another harm.  But, he is always there with open arms to welcome us home.  We just have to turn towards him.

Now to get my ‘flesh’ to agree with my ‘heart’ and do the same for the boys God has entrusted to us.
