40 Days of Seeking Him 2011 ~ Day 20

I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Back on Monday, one of the key points I shared from a recent homily was that we should find humor in our lives.

I can honestly say that our family will find humor in our lives whenever possible.  I just don’t know if our pastor was thinking about the kind of humor that is so appealing to boys.

Even Little J will join in giggling about the same things the other boys find funny.  It has me wondering how long until what can be at best called “potty humor” will make an exit from this house.  Those laughs are catching, though, when it’s a one year old giggling.  You might even find me letting a chuckle escape in harmony with the little guy.

  1. My husband is the ringleader of the potty humor in our house, so I am not hopeful – think all things to do with body functions will be their favorite source of belly laughs for a long time. I guess it's part of living with all boys. =)In my family comedy is an art. We even find humor in the morbid. I think laughter is a gift, and it's good for the soul.
