What do you get when you merge Tom and Jerry with the classic tale of Robin Hood?

My boys would say you get a fun filled animated adventure film!

About Tom & Jerry: Robin Hood and his Merry Mouse

A fresh take on the classic story, Tom & Jerry: Robin Hood and his Merry Mouse is an action-packed family film filled with laugh-out-loud moments and fur-flying exploits that only our favorite cat and mouse duo can deliver! The tussling twosome are at it again, when Jerry, as the smallest member of Robin Hood’s gang encounters Tom, a feline squire to Maid Marian. Not only are the cat and mouse from opposite sides of the moat, but Tom is secretly working as a spy for the Sheriff of Nottingham and evil Prince John. But when the villains succeed in capturing Robin, Tom realizes to his horror that they intend on harming Marian as well.  So he joins forces with Jerry, not only saving their respective humans but allowing for the safe return of King Richard as well.

Tom & Jerry: Robin Hood and his Merry Mouse is available in both high-definition Blu-ray™ for $24.98 SRP and standard DVD for $19.98 SRP. The Blu-ray edition is sold in a combo pack which includes both the Blu-ray™ and DVD editions of the film. Both editions will include UltraViolet™.

Our thoughts ~

D was the most excited of the boys when this arrived.  He’d seen an ad for it on TV and was going on and on about wanting to watch it.  I guess he’s really caught the Tom and Jerry bug!  Although, he admits that the Robin Hood tale is what really caught his eye.

Even J enjoyed watching this in spurts. I have to admit that I haven’t watched it personally. But given my own nostalgia for Tom and Jerry, I suspect that I’ll love it, too.

Curious about the film, you can check out a few clips from it online for free.
