As I mentioned the other day, the boys and I visited the Louisiana Children’s Museum while we were down that way in early October.
The special exhibit we were excited to see was a traveling one for Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood.
We LOVE Mister Rogers. When we started homeschooling, watching Mr. Rogers was a post lunch activity. One disappointment for moving to Maryland was discovering that show was not on the local PBS station. (It is on up here in Alaska once a week and I’ve had the DVR record a few so we can introduce Little J to the show.)
As I want to keep this particular post focused just on that one exhibit, I’ll be posting the rest of our visit in a third post within the next few days.

Love Mr Rogers-watched him all the time as a kid. I will be your neighbor, but only if I get to feed the fish and change my sweater each time! :0)
Thanks for stumbling my post…got you back.

TIna,
Thanks for the follow and stumble. I would have loved meeting Mr. Rogers in person as well. He did a wonderful job making you feel like his show was a visit to his neighborhood.
My kids would love that! Especially my daughter. I’ve really tried to incorporate the programs I grew up watching into their lives and I loved Mr. Rogers.
I’ve stumbled your post! If you want to stumble back, my post is http://www.mamamommymom.com/2011/07/bbt-summer-pasta-salad.html
