When Neighbors Come to Visit (Wordless Wednesday)

I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

When neighbors come to visit, they may need to rest from the journey.

How Close the Moose Are to the House

Moose are not an uncommon sight throughout the greater Anchorage area. You just need to give a wide birth to them, especially if Mama Moose has a young one with her!

  1. How awesome is that! Here in NH we see moose only rarely–maybe once every year or two. We did have one wander through our yard once, almost 10 years ago. Our backyard sees deer, foxes, raccoons, and fishers all the time, though. I saw a porcupine lumbering through the back woods this morning. 🙂

  2. Now that is cool. I do have to ask though, what are they. Here in northern PA we usually see white tail deer and sometimes some bear (I’ve only seen them when driving). Those are the biggest animals I ever see.
