40 Days of Seeking Him in Lent 2013 ~ Week Two

I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Sunday is here and we’re starting the second week of the 40 Days of Seeking Him in Lent meme has arrived.

40 Days of Seeking Him

I hope that everyone is finding their footing with any sacrifices or additions of activities to help you grow closer to Christ this season.  I’m enjoying reading the posts submitted and was kept so busy with other things that I’ve yet to share my own.  However, I can see that God is working on me, even if it is in ways I wouldn’t have personally chosen.

All Christian bloggers are invited to share their Lenten themed blog posts in the weekly link-up.

a great devotional to share?  Link it up!

Struck by a particular Scripture or song?  Share it with us!

Just posted a family favorite meatless dish on your blog?  Definitely send it our way!

Once again I am honored to be joining my sister in Christ, Trish, from A House Upon the Rock for this special meme.

The linky is set weekly, but feel free to share more than once each week if you are blogging about it that often.

May our choices during Lent help to lead us closer to the Lord and through participation in this meme help to encourage other Christians in their own walk.

  1. Laura! Did you find your King Cake recipe? Did you make beneigts? If I ever make homemade beneigts, I will consider my life officially well-lived. Thanks for hosting this, what a nice way to connect. A light to the world from Alaska in the dark. :0)

    1. Kendra,

You are most welcome for the meme. I love reading others thoughts on Lent.

I haven’t found my king cake recipe so we’ll have to do it next year (if I find that missing piece of paper.) And, no beneigts so far, but they want to buy some when we visit Louisiana this year.
