It’s Sunday morning and the sun is shining here in Alaska!
Mr. O and R went to the morning Mass we normally attend, but the other boys wanted to go tonight with me. D wants to pop over to the Lutheran Church that hosted VBS last week. His motivation is an ice cream social afterwards. So, we won’t be going as dessert is NOT my motivator for a double dose of church.
One of the songs they’re supposed to sing their this morning is He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands. To me, it’s a VBS classic…one of those songs you sing while waiting for everyone to arrive and the day to start.
The other song they are singing is known as the “happy song”. If I can get a video of my boys singing it, I’ll share it. But for now, here’s a You Tube video for you…

As the featured columnist for the Movies and Music category, you can be looking forward to weekly posts on what we are watching or music we’ve enjoyed. Feel free to leave suggestions for me as well. While I have several movies and some music selections in mind, I’m always on the lookout for other great choices.
