I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
Last year as part of the ‘audition’ for the TOS Crew, prospective crewmates were asked to review the Schoolhouse Planner that had just been published. You can read my review of it here.
This year in an effort to kick off things and get our feet ‘wet’, the 2009-2010 TOS Crew been given the opportunity to review the new edition of the Schoolhouse Planner. Some of the forms are the same as last year’s edition, but they have expanded the types of forms included. Also, each month has a completely different focus that the previous year. My personal favorite component is having the monthly theme plus a few recipes. Anyone who buys the Schoolhouse Planner will notice that the recipes were contributed by TOS Crewmates from the maiden voyage, including me!

For school related organization, my primary source will continue to be Homeschool Tracker. But, I do like several of the forms available in the Schoolhouse Planner and plan to utilize them during the years to come. I especially like having the ability to type in fields before printing so it is nice, neat and easier to read. I might even have the boys help out with some of the organization tasks.
Overall, this is a nice product which provides beyond the basic homeschool related forms that others offer. Definitely take a look at it and see if this might be just what your household can use.
