We do have autumn here in Alaska, although the colors are more limited than what we saw living in New York, Ohio and Maryland. Also, the length of autumn seems a bit shorter. This year was especially short as wind storms in September helped to get the leaves off the trees faster than normal.
Enjoy these photos from last autumn. The upside for the wind taking down trees and leaves is that we did not have so many leaves to rake this year. (Actually, all the work to clear the wood had no raking happening before the snow started flying.)
