Welcome to the 118th edition of The Christian Home Magazine, a weekly Blog Magazine posted (normally) every Monday. We continued to have a gorgeous and warm summer happening here in Alaska until last Friday when the cooler temps, overcast skies and drizzle I equate with summer here arrived. I think all of the boys at Cub Scout camp were glad for the change after a week of heat!
Articles are submitted by various Christian Blog authors. I hope you enjoy the articles submitted for this week’s ‘double’ article issue for a few contributors as last week was skipped. Don’t forget to leave a comment here about your favorite article and give the author some comment love on their blog!
Gardening & Flowers
Featured Columnist –Linda fromLinda’s Lunacy shares a new Saturday on the Farm. I’ve never heard of a Mimosa tree before now, so I love seeing her’s in bloom. And, I’m thinking I should have planted some peppermint seeing how prolific hers is!
Carolyn over at This Woman Writes shares In 32 Seconds Your Life Can Change with us this week. She tackles a bit about multitasking and how quickly life can change, especially when we aren’t really paying attention to it. Thank you, Carolyn, for your submission as it’s giving me pause to consider how often I truly live in the present moment.
The Godly Home
Featured Columnist – Mrs. Sarah Coller from Hope in Every Season is back with Lessons from the Titanic Seeing this post has me inspired to create more ‘fun’ learning for the boys when it comes to history. Not sure if they’d like a full on tea party, although I bet they’d drink the tea and eat the goodies!
Featured Columnist –Caroline from The Modest Mom blog shares her Modest Monday and a Link Up post. This week she has a ‘guest’ model to show how a slightly older lady can dress modestly and look great.
