I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
While I mostly have featured fashion posts that have women in mind, I do have guys in the house that like to look nice, too. My eldest son is one who definitely takes pride in how he looks. He was curious to see if an outfit from CHASE54 would pass the test for wear ability in our rough Alaskan landscape.
CHASE54 offers men’s apparel, all of which has the golfer in mind. Golf is not an outdoor sport which gets played by my son. However, he does engage in loads of outdoor activities which demand performance apparel.
The technical fabrics used in the clothing have been developed by CHASE54 for manufacturing of their line. The fabrics were created to move with you while protecting you from the elements, keeping you cool, dry and on your game. The CHASE54 produce line includes men’s polo shirts, golf pants, golf shorts and golf jackets.
Why would a young adult male who isn’t playing golf be interested in the CHASE54 product line?
Basically, the technical fabrics used in their product line is the same type of material highly desired up here in Alaska. The adult leaders in the different scouting groups all communicate to the youth that if they are wearing cotton clothing while out on an adventure here they could end up with problems such as hyperthermia. And that is NOT a unique issue to Alaska…all you need is to get wet and have a wind! So the youth are highly encouraged to wear synthetic materials which wick away moisture and removes that possible source of problems.
An advantage for the CHASE54 line is that it is not only providing the fabric he needs, but helps him maintain some style in the process. Any guy decked out in an outfit from this product line will be able to look fabulous with the casual look while out and about after a day on the green.
For review, he was sent the Summit Golf Shorts in Platinum ($72 retail, but on sale for $54 at time of this review.) These shorts offer DryFUZE to keep moisture off of you while providing stretch so the shorts move with you. There are pockets in front, on the side, and back for storing all you need. The 10 inch inseam allows for the shorts to end above the knee for most guys. My son is 6’3”. The shorts ran a little big on him (after losing weight on a weekend backpacking adventure) so that the hemline is just above his knee. A snugger fit around the waist would have them a little higher up on his leg.
The Kennedy Polo Shirt in Blue Danube ($70 retail, on sale for $54 at the moment) was the top he selected. They offer another 4 color options for this particular design. Like the shorts, the shirt offers DryFUZE which feels quite smooth to the touch. Both on the 3-button placket and along the back, you will find a reflective tape detail for a bit of safety when in a dimly lit environment. And, there is a laser cut detail on the collar to provide additional venting.
While this post has a focus in on the guys in your life, I would be remiss if I failed to mention CHASE54 offers a line for women as well. And, readers get a discount on their purchase!
Don’t miss the Just for Guys ~ CHASE54 Outfit Giveaway valued at $140 which ends on June 8th. It’s open to US addresses only and would make an awesome gift for that special guy in your life.
