I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
Thanks to Groupon Coupons for sponsoring this post on saving money. As always, opinions are all mine.
I’ve used Groupon off and on for years. There are times when a deal pops up and it just fits. But, did you know about Groupon Coupons?
I feel like I was living under a rock when I stumbled across it.
Life back on the east coast had me using coupons of all sorts on a regular basis. Moving to Alaska led to a serious decrease in ways to save money. The Sunday newspaper is rather paltry here and coupons were a rarity.
Online couponing is the way I’ve had to go. Yet, that was only helping me with groceries and not durables that our family (with 4 growing boys) needed.

My wanderlust which has set in recently can be indulged checking out deals on Travelocity. Sometimes just looking at the options helps me reign in that desire to travel the globe. And sometimes I spot an incredible deal for somewhere I need to be.
As I type this post, Groupon Coupons has 66,543 free coupons at 9,968 stores! Truly there is something there for pretty much everyone.
There’s nothing more annoying when you think you’ll get an awesome deal just to find the coupon you found won’t work. Sadly, it has happened to me more than once when just doing a random search. Groupon Coupons has vetted the coupons so you know they will work.
The best part of using this site is I can see what deals there are without having to wait for something in the mail or newspaper. Nor do I need to subscribe to multiple stores for their emails (which honestly have my secondary email account drowning so I rarely see those deals in a timely fashion.)
Now there is no excuses to not stretch the budget on necessities so that a few wants can be purchased.
