I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
Last year, I was so blessed to be an official blogger for the Gluten Free – Allergy Friendly Expo in Denver. Well, this year I am again an official blogger, only they’ve undergone a name change. The GF-AF Expo is now the Nourished Festival.
Attending the expo last year introduced me to several new brands to love. And, some of my already favorites had wonderful samples to try (some for new products) as well as coupons to give out. A few even had samples to take home.
While I went solo on Saturday, I brought my husband and 2 of the boys on that Sunday. My youngest was amazed at how many things tasted good to him. The only downside to his knowing this is he now asks for some of my items at home.
What to Expect at the Nourished Festival in Denver
Like last year, everything here will be gluten-free. However, they will also have groupings of companies that cater to special diets like keto or paleo. When you visit the event website, you can search for exhibitors by the need you have.
The main sponsor is Enjoy Life.
I may have a little problem with them. In a good way. Like, there are several items currently in my house for me to enjoy. The Breakfast Ovals were a new product late last year and have been perfect for when I am traveling.
And, my boys adore their chocolate. I have to hide the chocolate or they’ll eat it.
Yet again, this year there are companies I know and love. (Hello Zevia & Bow-Beas!!)
And there are companies who are completely new to me.
PRO TIP: Wear comfortable shoes as you’ll be walking and standing on concrete!
When we arrived, a bag was given to us. Some companies also have bags to pass out or given when you make a purchase.
PRO TIP: Bring a cooler in your vehicle!
This is something I wish I had done. A few vendors were selling products that needed to be refrigerated or kept frozen. I had to pass on buying those as I didn’t have a way to keep them cold. You CAN go in and out of the building to your car to drop off items as needed.

Nourished Festival Details
Here’s the nitty-gritty for you.
MAY 18-19, 2019
10:00 am – 3:00 pm on Sunday the 19th
If you purchases before doors open on the 18th, you can get a discount. Click on the image to make your purchase. It will open a new tab where you will need to enter the appropriate code for the discount.
You have options for one day or weekend passes for adults and kids.
There is also a special Family Pass for Sunday only that allows 2 adults and up to 6 kids to enter. My husband and boys went on a family pass last year. This year, I plan to get individual tickets for them as each pass gets a goodie bag of product samples and coupons when they enter. However, it is a great option for a family to attend at a lower rate.
LOCATION: NATIONAL WESTERN COMPLEX-EXPO HALL LEVEL 2
$10 per day for parking with no “IN & OUT” privileges.
PRO TIP: Bring cash with you!
Aside from the pricing, one big thing to know is that many of these companies will have product on hand for purchase. Usually, they offer a special price that is lower than anything in store or online. Last year, I grabbed peasant bread from a Boulder bakery. So, aside from the $10 for parking, bring some cash as a few vendors had the lowest pricing for cash purchases.
