This time of year has treats at every corner. Some are beloved and long anticipated and sometimes I see things that just don’t inspire me to take a bite and consume the extra calories. However, when we were baking today, the boys and I decided to use a few Nestle holiday products to add a twist to our treats.
I thought about making the Very Merry Cookie Wreath which I saw on the Nestle website. (Their image below:)
But, we opted to go for extreme chocolate and made brownie bites topped with a dark chocolate fudge icing. Then we brought a little holiday color to them using pieces of a Wonka Nerds Rope on some and sprinkling Wonka Nerds on the others.
If you have never made brownie bites, just grab a mini muffin pan for baking whatever brownie batter you like to bake. The baking time will be less that for a regular pan of brownies.
While one of the boys refused to try the brownies with candy on top, the others tried and decided the chocolate and burst of fruity flavor from the candy worked well together. Maybe we’ll bake up some chocolate chip cookies and make that wreath later this week.
Christmas Day may be upon us, but I know that the holiday season is still in full swing. So, why not unleash a little creativity and incorporate a few Nestle Seasonal Holiday products in your next baking adventure.
What are some of your favorite Nestle products?
Do you like a fruity burst with chocolate?
