This week, I decided to share some music instead of a movie review. These songs came from my planning the music for the next youth retreat at our parish.
Here I Am, Lord is one that I’ve sung for years and could sing in my sleep. I’m hoping that holds true on Tuesday as we have no cantor, just myself on piano and a young lady on flute.
The next one is a song I wanted to do, but without a cantor to lead I can’t see us using it this time. I Say Yes, My Lord/Digo si Señor is just a wonderful, bilingual song affirming our choice to hear God’s call. I could only find one submission to You Tube with it sung..which has me thinking of getting one made once I teach a few other people the song.
I Want to Walk as a Child is one that I’m considering using instead, ‘cause all there should be desiring to walk with Jesus!
I hope these songs bless a few of my readers this Sunday or others who find the post during the week.
This post has been submitted for inclusion in The Christian Home carnival (Issue 20) hosted by The Legacy of Home. As the featured columnist for the Movies and Music category, you can be looking forward to weekly posts on what we are watching or music we’ve enjoyed. Feel free to leave suggestions for me as well. While I have several movies and some music selections in mind, I’m always on the lookout for other great choices.
