In our house, D was the puzzle king for ages. By the time he turned 3, he was doing puzzles that the kids in R’s kindergarten class struggled with doing. He still goes through spurts, but has not wanted to graduate to the more complex puzzles with oodles of tiny pieces. That’s a good thing considering we have a 2-year-old in the house who just might eat a few!
Now that J has reached 2, we’ve decided to test the waters of puzzles with him. Kicking it off what a very cute, handmade puzzle we were sent to review by Kid Puzzles.
The one we were sent is called Wooden Knob Puzzle Polar Animals and so perfectly fits our Alaskan home!
D was eager to get J started on his puzzle journey. It took almost no time to get J hooked and he is found carrying this puzzle around the house to show you how well he can take pieces out and get most of them back with the occasional help from a big brother or mom.
Wooden Knob Puzzle Polar Animals retails for $25. Other puzzles on the website begin at $17 and go up depending up size and whether or not you have it personalized. They even offer puzzle stools that look awesome.
I have to say that we have been impressed with the quality of these and love the fact it is handmade. These would make a fantastic birthday or holiday gift for the little one in your life.
